re-reflections

Finally managed to sign into my blogger account. Somehow the last time I tried, I couldnt, no matter how hard I tried. Haha...

So its the start of the new year! Happy New Year everyone!

Played tong xiao mahjong last night. As usual, as long as I play with money, I'll end up losin, which was exactly what happened. No need to elaborate on that...

Well, one good news during this holidays, at least I exceeded my expected grade for semester 1. =)

Highlights of the past year;
From my ORD date on December 2007:
- I managed to keep this promise I made to myself; which is just something I told myself not to do as long as I am in NS.
- Though as a result of this promise, my actions might have given the wrong signals, and hence, missed out on something else.
- This is still bothering me.

Working experience in Pico Creative Centre; January - July 2008:
- Learnt how to survive boredom, or more specifically, monotony, like the best of them.
- Became fairly adept at using Microsoft Excel.
- First ever 'real' working experience.
- Saved some money; spent most of them on T400. =(

NUS semester 1:
August - October 2008:
- Loved first 2 weeks of school; very relaxed.
- Started feeling the pressure after tutorials started; pace was lightning compared to JC.
- Joined Rendezvous '08; spent minimally 4 hours every weeknight practicing for the performance; got complained of by roommate for leaving him alone. (aww...)

November 2008:
- Final weeks leading up to exams.
- Did not understand the syllabus starting from the point Rendezvous '08 ended. Caught no ball. Lol.
- Spent a substantial amount of time to catch up.
- Chiong'ed as best as I could for exams. Still died in a few areas.
- Realised I did not properly go out at all during my entire semester 1.
- Most importantly, a stranger moved into my room.

So there you have it. A v v brief outline of my year.
Hmm, I actually had quite a lot I wanted to type out, but now I forgot most of it, so let's just leave is as it is now..haha.

Today is my 1 year anniversary! =D

Anyway, I just borrowed Prison Break season 2 from the 'fat one'. You know who I am referring to...haha. At least something to keep me occupied for a few more days.

I started typing this post 2 hours ago. How do I do it? =O
