f!llER

Last saturday was the early matriculation into NUS talk at, of course, NUS.
Was quite worried at first that I wouldn be able to find the correct LT. Like duh, NUS is so huge. Though, yea, like my bro said, just follow the crowd. Haha. Which worked actually. Quite near to the expressway entrance there. Should keep that in mind.

So, the gist of it was, its totally up to u whether u wanna enter the special semester or not. Though it is highly recommended, due to:
1. Possible to get degree 1 semester early (if u chiong for the entire course, ie, every semester 4-5 modules = crazy workload, in addition to taking 4 modules in the special semester)
2. Use this period as an adjustment period to get back into studying mood. (As u noe, NS makes our brain useless. Lol.)

The special semester starts in 12 May '08 thru 02 Aug '08. Its split into 2 semesters at 23 June'08. Each special semester lasts 6 wks, as opposed to each normal semester lasting 13 weeks.

Oh yea, the prof also stressed that we will still be joining the main cohort when they arrive in august '08. Ha. So there's no need to worry abt spending our 4 yrs+ with the same group of returning NS men and to miss chances with the ladies. ^^
In other words, we will not be a semester ahead, though we would have alrdy completed a few modules ahead of the rest.

If i rmb correctly, the fees for each module would be around $688. Steep. Haha, and we have to take at on average 4 per semester.

So that's basically wad the lecture was about. The amazing thing was, the prof actually managed to spend a whole hour to explain these points to us. Talk about long-winded. XD

Met quite a number of my old frens there. Haven seen them in a long time. Secondary, JC, and NS friends. So refreshing to see all of them again. Its like 1 big circle. We go our separate ways a while back, and now, we're all coming back to the same place again. NIce. =)

Btw, is 20 years old really that old?
Some of us think so. ;P

Maybe its better to take things 1 step at a time yea?
VengeAnce.

I'm letting some things bother me...
Some things that shouldn, or should i say, neednt bother me.
Its time to get these outta my head.

No point wasting effort on meaningless stuff.
The insignificance it poses.
The indifference it shows.
The insensitivity it portrays.
The incalculable time it requires.
Heck. You can't please everyone.
