This is part of a conversation between my friend and I today...Me, thinking of what to do for the rest of the evening: "Did you bring any books along?" (I wanted to borrow one.)
Him: "Erm. No..."
Strange...?
Me: "So how many books did you bring?"
Him: "One." (Gotcha! He wanted to keep it to himself after all.)
