national treasure

Met up with Y K Ng (Yong Kuan), K W Tan (Warren) and G A Leow (Guo An) at AMK Hub for a movie yesterday.
Stopped by Warren's house before heading there. He wanted to show me the PS3 he just bought. Wow. OKay. At first I thought the graphics looked a bit choppy, until he explained that he hadn bought the HD-something add-on to improve the graphics. Spent $700 on the set...I wonder if it was worth it. Personally, I wouldn go for it just yet...haha, especially since I just spent $400 on a PSP slim. =X
Well, due to his 'display' aka showing off of his PS3, we ended up leaving his house at 6pm, when he actually told all of us to meet at 6pm. So we had less than a minute to reach AMK Hub from Hougang.
Conclusion? LATE. Lol.
Furthermore, you can imagine how difficult it is to find a parking spot in AMK Hub during a public holiday. Yep. When we finally reached there, it was alrdy 6.45pm...and we werent the latest. -.- Courtesy of G A Leow. As usual.
Funny thing; Warren msged me the day before asking to go watch 'I am Legend'. Tried as I could, I just couldn find any movie listing for that movie in the cinemas. Then I found out why. Printed big and bold in the newspaper for 'I am Legend', "OPENS 24th DECEMBER". =/
In the end, we bought tickets to 'National Treasure'...at 9.30pm. Dam late.

"Let's stay away from fast food."
That was our common thought. We walked around the place, even to AMK central but couldn decide on a place. Eventually, we ended up at KFC for dinner. Somehow. Somewhat. ZzZ.

The 'National Treasure' show was worth a watch. Sort of a investigative, Da Vinci Code-ish type of show, minus the religious implications, coupled with action, comedy and a little romance. Slightly more than 2hrs long. I thought I sensed a small cliffhanger at the end of the show, but there didnt seem to be a follow-up on that, so maybe I was just imagining it...

Ended past midnight. Nearly lost my handphone there. It dropped out, and with the use of my friends' handphones, found mine stuck deep inside one of the seats. Dunno how it could've dropped until like that. -.-
Oh ya. 3 of us had the same handphone. Haha. How coincidental.
So very late already. No more last bus or train. Luckily I brought a ride there. Haha, and I didnt have to wake up early the next morning. So it didnt really matter, for me that is. The rest of them still had work today. So good luck to them. =D
We were saying we'd meet up again to watch 'I am Legend'. For real this time. HAha. It was nice to see all of them again.

Woke up only about 2 hrs ago. RECORD in dunno how many years. Wow, I must have been real tired the night before...

Anyway, congrats (I think) to JAmes on being posted to be a regimental policeman (RP). It is one of the better aka less intense vocations to get posted to. Though its super boring. =/ But hey, since when is guard duty ever interesting?
