Its AbOUt sAvIng kIds' lIvEs

Let me share my experience in the famine camp...

Starving...is definitely NOT a 'fun' experience! The first night was the worst...had gastric...hai...din feel good at all until it was around time to sleep...let's see, I kept dozing off at almost every lecture...haha~! The price to pay for not sleeping early the night before I guess...=P My group members were nice people, at least from what I gather during the camp, esp Jin Hin...haha, yea u rock!

Talking about Jin Hin, I kept getting his name wrong! I was like 'Hin Jin' here and there, and he'll be like 'Its Jin Hin la...' haha! Cannot help it la...honest mistake! But would u believe I mistook his name throughout the whole camp...bah...lol. Don't you agree the name Hin Jin would flow more freely? Hehe, forget abt it...

The games conducted are...nothing spectacular...but there was one game, we are supposed to go out 1 by 1 to pick a box with a random chance to advance to the next level...number of tries is roughly equal to number of people in ur group, for us it was around 20-25 tries...its like 40% chance for first 2 leves, followed by 20% chance at next 2 and 10% chance at final 3...would you believe our group picked out all 6 wrong boxes on the first level?! Wth??? Haha...in the end I think we are the only team to fail in completing the game...

We built some crude shelters in the field during the day which we were supposed to sleep on during the night...it was NOT a desirable location to spend the night...at least in my opinion. As fate would have it, the organisers decided that we should not sleep on the field due to lightning activity...haha...for better or for worse? In the end, the girls slept in the hall while the guys slept outside the hall. I picked 1 of the 'steps' on the grand stand as my sleeping quarters...yea~ cant say i had a good night's sleep though...not comfortable at all...I woke up at 1 am, just suddenly could not sleep...den everyone around so noisy also, I look up and there's the light glaring at my face too! Haha...I complain a lot rite? =P Anyways, during that time I felt like taking a stroll around the track...seems so nice...however could not find a companion to go with me =( In the end I just sat there and took out my MP3 player to listen and just gaze out at the distance...felt the tranquil calm atmosphere quite strongly and it was...nice =)

Er...I think Im going on for too long...haha...I also forget what I want to say also! =P Think I'll just end here for now...cya ppl!
